Construction Documents Phase:
The Architect reviews the program with Client to understand the requirements of the project. Based upon a mutually agreed upon program, The Architect then prepares schematic design studies consisting of freehand sketches illustrating the scale and relationship of the project for approval by Client. These sketches include floor plans, exterior elevations and a conceptual site plan.
The Architect prepares from the approved schematic sketches, computer generated exterior elevations, and typically floor plans. Building sections and preliminary interior elevation sketches are also typically drawn in the phase as well.
The Architect prepares plans from approved Design Development drawings that provide the information to accurately construct the project. This includes, but is not limited to: floor plans, elevations, building sections, foundation plan, wall sections, cornice details, dormer details, as well as any other drawings called out in the Schedule of Drawings as may be approved to the design.
